  4. Massacre is one of those groups. The brand of death metal featured on "From Beyond" is pretty standard Floridian death metal. Scott Burns sits in the production seat at Morrisound studios in Tampa and its off. While this album may not have garnered the popularity like other releases at this time, it is still a great album/5(23).

Trivia: Walter Trachsler played rhythm guitar on this album but was not credited. - According to Mike Borders, Robby Goodwin wrote the song "Biohazard" but was not credited. - "Corpsegrinder" is not a Death cover. It was written by Rick Rozz when he was in Death and then re-recorded it with Massacre. However, Chuck Schuldiner claimed in interviews that he had written it.

Some think that it is a rather generic and boring album with nothing original on it. That's true in some ways, but it also still is one of darkest, heaviest and most enjoyable pieces of .
